About Thrum
A thrum is a steady, rhythmic hum. Thrum listens for the hum behind AI in law — and in iManage — before it becomes a headline.
AI is changing how law firms work faster than any of us can read about it. The signals show up first in a leaked memo, a CIO's LinkedIn post, a court sanction, a quiet product release, and only months later in the trade press. Thrum is built to catch them early.
What Thrum tracks
- Law Firms & AI: rollouts, firm-built tools, AI policies, court sanctions and bar guidance
- iManage: product releases, AI features, cloud moves, partnerships and what admins are talking about
- Corporate AI Moves: AI-first mandates, AI-driven layoffs and strategy shifts
- Leadership Voices: CEOs, CIOs and CTOs taking a public stand on AI
- AI Warnings: leading scientists raising the alarm on AI risk
How it works
Thrum uses Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, to search news sources around the world, in many languages, for the stories people are actually talking about. For each one it writes a short briefing: the key points, an analysis of what it means for legal-technology advisers and for lawyers bringing AI into their practice, and an impact score from Low to Critical. Every briefing links to its source.
Our publisher reviews what Thrum finds and selects what is published. The research and writing are Claude's, and every post says so.
Story tips, corrections and questions are welcome at hello@thrumwire.com.
